The Agriculture CECs received the draft Kenya Coffee Roadmap report and gave their input to the draft in addition to commemorating International Coffee Day 2020.
KCP Steering Committee met to discuss effect of Covid-19 across different parts of the Kenyan coffee sector.
The participants agree that better communication on the effects and responses is needed. As well as share available resources of use to different stakeholders.
Kenya Coffee Platform hosted Kenyan Coffee Stakeholders for a Coffee Update Webinar to review the coffee year 2019/2020 and KCP achievements for the year.
The webinar also gave insights on the Coffee Innovation Fund financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development(BMZ). The Fund supports Innovation approaches to improve the production, processing and marketing of coffee and increase local value creation.
